Donate R1 a day and help Educate a Child

Please join our campaign “Donate R1 a day and help educate a child”.  Your debit order of R30 per month will help our endeavours to sustain the educational programs of Outreach21.   Your donations will be used for the following:

  • Purchasing stationery
  • Purchasing educational toys
  • Purchasing therapeutic tools
  • Purchasing sporting equipment
  • Implementing tuition programs
  • Creating extramural programs
  • Sponsor “learn a trade”

Adopt a School

We encourage all schools out there to embrace our “Adopt a School” campaign through the following suggested methods:

  • Monthly contribution
  • Selecting one month a year to focus on one of our schools by doing a drive to donate in the following way:

  Monetary donation;  

  Stationery donation;

  Sporting equipment;

  Tuition.


 Tutor a Child

  • Calling all teachers who may have a hour or more available to offer extra tuition at the schools in the following subjects:

   Mathematics;

   English;

   Afrikaans;

   Xhosa;

   Accounting;

   Business Studies;

   Economics;

   Geography;

   History;

   Life Sciences;

   Physical Sciences.


Nelson Mandela Day

Nelson Mandela Day is an annual international day in honour of Nelson Mandela, former President of South Africa and Father of the Nation, celebrated each 18 July (on Mandela’s birthday). Mandela Day is a global call to action that celebrates the idea that each individual has the power to transform the world, the ability to make an impact.  Mandela has fought for social justice for 67 years.

On Mandela Day people around the world are encouraged to spend at least 67 minutes doing something positive for their communities in honor of the 67 years Mr. Mandela spent fighting for social justice. Outreach21 has undertaken and will continue to do so every year on 18 July, asking people to consider contributing a once off amount of R67 – one rand for every year of Mr. Mandela’s public service.
