Stationery Donation - Masiphumelele High School
We were fortunate enough to receive a stationery donation which we were able to deliver to Masiphumelele High School in December 2015.
Masiphumelele High School is situated in the township of Masiphumelele and caters for Grade 8 to Grade 12. Masiphumelele is situated between Kommetjie and Fish Hoek in Cape Town, South Africa. Masiphumelele means “we will succeed” in Xhosa. This informal settlement is home to over 38 000 residents.
Masiphumelele High School has approximately 1300 learners with an average of 50 learners per classroom. Learners attending this school are from Masiphumelele itself, but some travel from the township Capricorn, about 15 kilometres away as they are unable to afford the school fees of nearby schools.
